This is my attempt at a reproduction of J.W.Waterhouse's work entitled Mariamne (1888) One Hundred years after Waterhouse unveiled his work, Mariam Nader and myself were born (1988). This painting was created as a gift in celebration of Mariam's 22nd birthday, and as a token of our friendship and mutual love for the symbolic and magically feminist world that his works invoke.
